In 1972 he returned to Paris, where he remained until 1980. From 1973 onwards he devoted himself entirely to painting, a career that reached its peak in 1976 with his participation in the Venice Biennale.
In Paris, he exhibited in various shows and continued the painting work he had begun as early as 1970 with the series "The King"
