He was born in Turin on 4 October 1938.
For him, Turin was not merely his birthplace, but became the beating heart of his artistic and social life.
In the city of the Mole, he forged relationships with many galleries and organised many of the most important exhibitions of his career.
He spent a large part of his life in Turin.
