The exhibition features works spanning the period from the mid-1960s to 2001 . ‘Aldo Mondino: Grand Tour Contemporaneo’ thus traces the key stages of the artist’s creative journey, from works on graph paper to paintings on linoleum and experiments with bronze, glass, ceramics and mosaics.
Aldo Mondino was a great artist and a great traveller. He explored both familiar and lesser-known worlds, driven by a constant curiosity to discover and delve deeper into other cultures. He did so with both care and a light touch, with that touch of irony and self-deprecation that was a constant feature of his work.
