INSIDE. Carlo Pasini e Aldo Mondino
The Med Artium Cultural Association (an ARCI affiliate) in Savona is pleased to announce that on Saturday 10 March at 4.30 pm, at the Palazzo del Commissario (Fortezza del Priamar – Savona), with welcoming remarks from the Mayor of Savona and the President of the Med Artium Association, and an introduction to the event by Maestro Carlo Pasini, the exhibition entitled: Carlo Pasini “Inside” Aldo Mondino will be inaugurated.
The exhibition, curated by Valerio Dehò, presents a rich selection of paintings, sculptures and floor installations by Maestro Carlo Pasini, alongside a collection of paintings, pastels, drawings, mixed media works and sculptures by Aldo Mondino, an internationally renowned artist whose works are held in the world’s most important museums and with whom Pasini was a friend and collaborator from 2000 to 2005.
As Maestro Carlo Pasini succinctly put it: “...the reason for this exhibition in Savona is simple and almost ‘trivial’: both Aldo and I have travelled far and wide across the Ligurian region, working with gallery owners and galleries; in your kilns we have tried our hand at ceramics and, last but not least: we have enjoyed our stay here”.
