From 8 April to 18 August 2023, the Santa Maria della Scala museum complex will host the exhibition“Aldo Mondino. START. An unceasing beginning”, curated by Vittoria Coen.
Featuring over thirty works, the exhibition traces Mondino’s incredible artistic journey, which spans a wide range of techniques and materials.

An engaging journey through the spaces on the sixth floor of Palazzo Squarcialupi, featuring paintings on linoleum and medium- to large-scale sculptures from major public and private collections.
Aldo Mondino is one of the undisputed leading figures in the contemporary landscape of national and international artistic experimentation, a multifaceted and inquisitive artist, a dandy and an eccentric who traverses time and space in an extraordinarily surprising way, with an open and curious gaze turned towards the East, the Arab world, North Africa, India and Jewish tradition.
